Requirements:- Around 10 years of commercial software development experience
- Commercial experience with most of the following: C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and REST and/or SOAP web services
- Proven experience developing large, complex enterprise applications
- Experience working for a software product or technology company where software is the core business
- Strong understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience writing efficient, maintainable, well-tested code
- Knowledge of low-level programming concepts, including memory management, threading, performance optimisation, and concurrency
- Applicants must be free to work in the UK
- Desirable: experience with distributed systems or microservices, Azure or AWS, and CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Develop and enhance a sophisticated software platform across the full software development lifecycle
- Design new functionality and improve existing systems
- Solve complex technical problems
- Help shape the future direction of the platform
- Write high-quality code, with attention to performance, scalability, reliability, and software quality
