C# .NET Developer with WPF and Excel

About the role

We are looking for a C#.NET Developer with experience in WPF and solid knowledge of Excel to participate in an international project in the economic field.

You will work on the maintenance and evolution of an enterprise application developed as an Excel add-in, incorporating new functionalities and improving its performance and reliability, in collaboration with a team in the United States.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain functionalities in C#/.NET Framework and WPF interfaces.
• Implement and resolve data access issues using ADO.NET.
• Analyze requirements, plan tasks, and participate in the entire development cycle.
• Investigate and solve complex issues regarding existing code.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews, QA, and build and deployment processes with Git and Azure DevOps.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of professional experience in C#/.NET development.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework, WPF, and ADO.NET.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in unit and integration testing.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• English level that allows working and communicating with a team in the United States.
• Analytical capacity, problem-solving, autonomous learning, and teamwork.

Nice to have

• Experience with economic data and time series.
• Development of Excel add-ins and interoperability with Microsoft Office.
• Development of enterprise desktop applications.
• Knowledge of SSMS, Dapper, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, .NET 5+, Telerik UI, or Python.

Education & certifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines.

• Remote work from Spain.
• Collaboration schedule with the United States: from 9:00 to 17:00, US Eastern Time.
