C# / .NET DevOps Engineer

Summary

Build and standardize a modern CI/CD platform using GitHub Actions and GitOps for a large C#/.NET and Python estate in asset management, improving security, reliability, and developer productivity.

JUXT is partnering with a global asset management firm to transform and standardise software delivery across a large application estate.

The organisation supports hundreds of applications built primarily in C#/.NET and Python, with delivery pipelines that have evolved independently over many years. The result is a mixture of build processes, deployment tooling and operational practices that vary significantly between teams.

Your mission is to help change that.

You'll join a small, highly experienced DevOps team responsible for designing a modern CI/CD platform based around reusable GitHub Actions workflows and standard deployment patterns. Rather than building one-off pipelines, you'll create engineering products that application teams can adopt with minimal effort—improving consistency, security, observability and deployment reliability across the organisation.

This is a hands-on engineering role with significant influence over how software is built, tested and deployed across a large enterprise.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Standardised CI/CD Platform - Design reusable GitHub Actions workflows and deployment templates covering build, test, security scanning, packaging, promotion and production deployment.
  • Modernising Legacy Delivery - Migrate applications from Azure DevOps pipelines onto a standard GitHub Actions platform while maintaining production stability and minimising disruption.
  • Supporting Mixed Estates - Develop pipeline patterns that support both Kubernetes-based services and traditional Windows Server / VM deployments, allowing teams to modernise at their own pace.
  • Containerisation - Work with development teams to containerise applications, adopt 12-factor principles and improve portability across environments.
  • Security by Default - Integrate SonarQube, dependency scanning, SAST/DAST, image signing and supply-chain security into every pipeline, ensuring quality and compliance are built into the delivery process.
  • Infrastructure as Code - Develop supporting infrastructure using Terraform and Bicep for build runners, deployment environments, identities and shared platform services.
  • Engineering Enablement - Produce clear documentation, reusable templates and guidance that make the standard easy to adopt while helping engineering teams improve their delivery practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive hands-on DevOps engineering experience within enterprise environments
  • Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD platforms usingAzure DevOps,GitHub ActionsandOctopus Deploy
  • Experience creating reusable pipeline templates, shared workflows and engineering standards
  • Strong understanding of continuous delivery, release promotion strategies, approvals and rollback processes
  • Experience supporting both Kubernetes and traditional Windows/VM deployment models
  • Experience working with Azure infrastructure and on-premise environmentsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple engineering teams
  • A pragmatic approach to improving engineering practices through automation and standardisation
  • Terraform and/or Bicep experience
  • Experience implementing 12-factor application principles
  • Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or Azure Application Insights
  • Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines
  • Working knowledge of C#/.NET and/or Python build processes
  • Experience within Financial Services, Asset Management or other regulated environments

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to influence software delivery across an enterprise engineering organisation rather than simply maintaining existing pipelines.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers to build a modern CI/CD platform that improves developer productivity, increases deployment reliability and establishes engineering standards that will be adopted across hundreds of applications.

If you enjoy treating pipelines as products, solving complex infrastructure challenges and enabling development teams through automation, this role offers genuine technical ownership and long-term impact.
