JOB SUMMARY:
The Trainee, Engineering (C&S) provides foundational support to the civil and structural engineering team while undergoing structured on-the-job training. The role assists with basic drafting, documentation, site coordination and engineering tasks, gaining exposure to design workflows, structural systems, construction practices and multidisciplinary coordination in the built environment sector.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist engineers in preparing basic drawings, sketches and documentation.
• Support drafting tasks using CAD/BIM tools under supervision.
• Assist in preparing simple calculations, design notes or technical summaries.
• Conduct basic research on materials, codes and engineering references.
• Help review drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Support coordination activities with internal teams and external consultants.
• Assist with site visits, documenting observations and updating drawings where instructed.
• Maintain documentation, file management and drawing registers.
• Participate in learning sessions, training programmes and team meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering, or relevant engineering discipline.
• No prior experience required; fresh graduates or interns transitioning to full-time roles are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, structural systems and construction concepts.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM tools is an advantage.
• Eagerness to learn, good attitude and willingness to work under supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
