C&S Site Engineer (Residential Project)

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the CM/SM to lead the Site works with own team and subcontractors.

- To manage, coordinate and lead a team of consortium partners.

- Ensure project completion within the set budget, schedule and conformance with the contract documents.

- To plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan whilst managing the day-to-day operational aspects of projects which includes resource allocation, manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and assist in cost control.

- Liaise closely with Employer, Superintending Officer &RSS Team, Partnering Companies, Sub-contractors and relevant authorities in resolving site issues and authorities’ compliance issue to achieve smooth completion of projects.

- Liaise with the Employer’s safety manager in the development of a site-specific safety plan.

- Prepare detailed, accurate timely project reports including work schedules, implementations, deviations, change in subcontractors, customer issues and other related problems.

- Develop logistics plan that allows the contractors to complete their work in a coordinated, efficient manner.

- Develop method of construction, evaluate and assess trade contractor method statements and contract documentation for buildability and provide suitable feedback.

- Establish regularly scheduled meetings with the trade contractors to review the following: shop drawing preparation / approval, equipment/material lead times and required on-site dates, manpower projections vis-a-vis the project schedule, quality/performance issues on and off site.

- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the company.

- Any other duties that may assigned from time to time by Management.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management or equivalent qualification.

- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience with Main Contractor in the Construction industry.

- Experience in Condominium building construction / Commercial building construction will be advantageous.

- Ability to prioritize tasks well and able to work independently.

- Able to work under stress and complete tasks within set deadlines.
