C++ Software Engineer (Industrial Automation / Semiconductor)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software features for industrial automation machinery to enhance product capabilities.
• Collaborate with product specialists, hardware engineers, and process engineers to define and develop technical requirements.
• Conduct software requirement analysis, customer-specific evaluations, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and resolution for customer-side software issues.
• Perform hands-on software debugging and verification on actual machinery within a laboratory environment.
• Utilize version control and issue tracking systems to manage software releases, code quality, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in C++ software development within Windows or Linux environments, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and QT framework usage.
• Experience in multi-tasking application development and familiarity with software quality, testing methodologies, and Agile processes.
• Technical understanding of semiconductor backend equipment, packaging processes, electronics, or mechanical systems.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with practical experience debugging hardware/software integration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a global team environment.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with high resilience.
