C++ Software Engineer

Join a global technology team building software that supports trading, risk and reporting across international financial markets.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a C++ engineer who wants to work on complex production systems, broaden their technical experience and gain exposure to financial markets.

The role

You will work alongside experienced engineers to:

• Develop and maintain applications using modern C++
• Build and enhance software running in Linux environments
• Use Python for tooling, automation and supporting services
• Integrate external data into trading, risk and reporting platforms
• Work with relational databases and large datasets
• Test, troubleshoot and improve production software
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Sydney and globally

What we are looking for

• 3+ years of commercial C++ development experience
• Strong Linux experience
• Python development experience
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience developing and supporting production software
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach

Financial markets experience is useful but not essential.

Salary: $140,000 to $165,000 package, plus annual bonus.
