C# WPF UI Developer

Summary

Develops C# WPF desktop UIs for engineering simulation software, occasionally supporting legacy C++/MFC interfaces, with a focus on customer-centric design and rapid, high-quality delivery.

Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Commercial-grade C# and WPF user interface development skills via .NET 6-10, .NET Framework 4.8, or .NET Core
  • Some knowledge of C++ desktop UI, such as MFC, for occasional legacy work
  • User interface design ability, considering the customer use case
  • The skill and inclination to work rapidly, to immediate business needs, and to a high standard including thorough testing
  • Keen to participate in technical training and review excellent documentation
  • Already resident in the Cambridge area or have strong ties there
  • Full existing long-term UK work permission without visa sponsorship
Responsibilities:
  • Develop user interfaces in C# and WPF for our simulation software
  • Support occasional legacy desktop UI work in C++/MFC
  • Design user interfaces with the customer use case in mind
  • Work quickly to meet immediate business needs while maintaining a high standard
  • Carry out thorough testing
  • Participate in technical training and use our documentation to get up to speed quickly
