Furniture Medic is a small shop environment. We hire skilled fabricators and craftsman to help repair and build cabinets and furniture items associated with insurance claims and moving related damages claims.
Requirements:
Requirements:
- Must have experience building cabinets, face frames, doors and drawers.
- A complete understanding and experience in usage of cabinet shop machinery to include:
- Table Saws
- Sanders
- Planers
- Shapers
- and hand/power tools.
- The ability to design jigs as needed for woodworking machines to do custom door rail designs.
- The ability to create material lists.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee cabinet projects from beginning to end.
- Manage all shop processes related to cabinet building and repair tasks.
- Maintain a clean shop work space.
- Follow all company filed procedures and protocols.
- Maintain neatly groomed appearance, per employee handbook.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
