Position Overview
You will complete cabinet painting and refinishing tasks in our shop and assist with cabinet-related work in customer homes. We are seeking career‑minded individuals who want to grow, learn new techniques, and deliver high-quality results in some of the nicest homes in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Prep, sand, clean, and finish cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and frames
- Apply primer and paint using sprayers and other finishing tools
- Follow instructions from the project manager and adhere to Kitchen Tune-Up Trustpoints
- Assist with cabinet door and drawer front removal, installation, and reassembly
- Drill for hinges; install doors, drawer fronts, and roll-out trays
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and complete daily cleanup
- Communicate progress with the project manager
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Experience in painting, refinishing, or woodworking preferred
- Ability to safely operate power tools (table saw, band saw, router, planer, nail gun, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn new techniques and follow established processes
