Summary
Performs on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of underground power cables, including jointing, terminations, and fault identification, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
1. Carry out low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) cable jointing and terminations.
2. Install, repair, maintain and test underground power cables.
3. Perform cable fault identification and rectification.
4. Read electrical drawings and cable route plans.
5. Conduct insulation resistance and continuity testing.
6. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications.
7. Prepare daily work reports and coordinate with supervisors and project engineers.
8. Support emergency cable repair works when required.
