Job Summary:

Are you a detail-oriented "maker" who enjoys working with high-tech machinery? We are looking for a Cabling Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you aren’t just running a machine; you are the craftsman responsible for the structural integrity of the cables that power our world. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble: Twist and cable primary conductors together using specialized industrial equipment.
  • Verify: Act as your own "Quality Inspector" by measuring diameters and gauges with calipers.
  • Document: Keep perfect records of your work to ensure every reel meets our high standards.
  • Lead: Maintain your workspace and ensure products are wrapped and ready for the next stage of production.
  • Safety: Follow proper safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and the use of PPE.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret complex work instructions and job travelers.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools like calipers and cutters.
  • Strong oral communication skills with a focus on active listening and seeking clarification.
  • A consistent track record of punctuality, accountability, and meeting productivity standards.
  • The ability to multi-task and pivot between different product setups as production needs change.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures.

Shift Opportunities:

  • First Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Mon-Fri
  • Second Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Mon-Fri (+ $2.50)

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting pay for this position is $22.00 per hour ($24.50 for 2nd Shift). Employees are eligible for wage increases through a structured, tiered pay progression based on demonstrated proficiency, skill development, and successful completion of designated training and job responsibilities.
