CAD/CAM Programmer & 5-Axis CNC Operator

Position: CAD/CAM Programmer & 5-Axis CNC Operator

This is a combined position. Our production volume does not require separate people for programming and machine operation, therefore we are looking for one experienced professional who is able to manage both the CAD/CAM preparation and the machining process independently.

Candidate Profile & Technical Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced candidate with a strong background in precision 5-axis CNC machining.

The candidate should have:

• Proven professional experience operating 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Experience in high-precision machining, preferably of small and complex components
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM programming
• Experience with Autodesk PowerMILL is highly preferred
• Knowledge of CAD software such as Rhinoceros and/or SolidWorks
• Experience with CAM systems such as PowerMILL and/or GibbsCAM
• Ability to prepare machining strategies, toolpaths, setups and tooling independently
• Good understanding of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, tolerances and surface finishing
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and 3D models
• Experience working with very tight tolerances and high-quality surface requirements
• Ability to set up, operate and control the machining process independently
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Our CNC department works with a GF Machining Solutions Mikron HSM 200U LP 5-axis machine with Heidenhain control, therefore experience with comparable high-speed 5-axis machining centres would be highly appreciated.

Since we operate in the high-end jewellery and watchmaking sector, precision, surface quality and attention to very small details are extremely important to us.

Employment Conditions

Contract period:
We are looking for a long-term employment relationship and a candidate willing to relocate to Tirana, Albania.

Salary:
The salary will depend on the candidate's professional experience, technical level and ability to work independently. We are open to discussing a competitive salary package with suitable candidates after reviewing their CVs and technical experience.

Working hours and overtime:
Standard full-time employment. The detailed working schedule and overtime conditions can be discussed during the recruitment process and will be in accordance with the employment agreement and local regulations.
