CAD Designer

Overland Park, KS engineering company is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a CAD Designer position with the Architecture and Engineering (A&E) department. This candidate will be responsible for completing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings. This position is 100% onsite (in-office).

Tasks include the following.

• Completing drawings based on client requirements, field sketches, photos, and internet map images.

• Peer review of other designers’ drawings as part of a quality control process.

• Address drawing comments based on redlines from clients, project managers, engineers, and other designer’s peer reviews.

• Keep files and materials in orderly manner, following company standards

• Be a TEAM player

Qualifications Needed:

• Certification in CAD Design or Associates in CAD Design.

• Experience or knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Experience or knowledge within the Telecommunications Industry is a plus, but not a requirement.

• General office skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

• Knowledge of Civil, Steel, or Electrical CAD design is a plus.

• Problem solving skills.
