CAD Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical / CAD Design Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical components, products, tooling, and manufacturing solutions. You will work closely with Engineering, Production, and other teams to transform technical requirements into practical, manufacturable designs.

Languages: German (fluent), Hungarian (native), English (good)

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Develop mechanical components, products, tooling, and manufacturing solutions based on technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, technical documentation, and design records.
• Review designs for feasibility, functionality, tolerances, and manufacturability.
• Perform engineering calculations and support technical problem-solving as required.
• Manage drawing revisions, CAD data, and engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support product improvements, design optimization, and production-related technical issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Project teams, suppliers, and customers.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in mechanical design, CAD engineering, product design, tooling, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with 3D/2D CAD software such as CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or similar.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with BOMs and engineering documentation; knowledge of PLM/PDM systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively across technical teams.
