Bergen Pipe Supports is currently hiring for a full-time CAD Drafter to work out of our offices in Donora, PA. The CAD Drafter is responsible to create CAD shop drawings with Bill of Material for fabrication orders.

Essential Duties:

Perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading CAD models.
Utilize and work with piping systems and drawing to design and analyze pipe support.
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience with AutoCAD software. Mathematics skills – Algebra, Geometry
Detail oriented and able to visualize parts in 3D. Experience with 2D drawings.

Knowledge of structural steel design and AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards.

Previous project lead experience, including coordinating project activities, managing priorities, and driving projects to completion.

Strong analytical, design, and concept skills.
Able to clearly communicate with others.
Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and control workflow in a team environment.

Must be able to work accurately with deadlines and set priorities.

Days/Shift:

Monday thru Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
