CAD PLM Process Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and understand client requirements related to CAD and PLM processes.
• Work extensively on 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) and CATIA to support CAD data management and design processes.
• Define and implement solutions for CAD data creation, management, and quality improvement within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Manage and maintain CAD data structures, relationships, links, and dependencies across engineering applications.
• Support design teams in utilizing CATIA, Creo, and NX effectively within the PLM environment.
• Configure and manage 3DX concepts such as Business Logic (BLs), Triggers, Data Setup, Engineering Templates, and Power Copies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for CAD process improvements and automation.
• Ensure adherence to PLM best practices, data governance standards, and engineering design processes.
• Conduct impact analysis, process optimization, and support CAD/PLM implementation and migration activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering and PLM solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands-on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) and CATIA.
• Good understanding of CAD design processes and tools such as CATIA, Creo, and NX.
• Expertise in 3DEXPERIENCE Data Model and CAD data structures.
• Experience in CAD Data Migration and PLM implementation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge of CATIA native applications and related design modules.
• Experience with Power Copies, Engineering Templates, Core/Covering Materials, and design automation concepts.
• Knowledge of Business Logic (BLs), Triggers, Data Setup, and CAD data quality management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, gather requirements, and present solution approaches.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, or Industrial domains is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
