The Opportunity
Your Impact
- Interpret topographic survey data, field notes, and engineering inputs to produce precise, high‑quality drawings.
- Develop advanced 3D models in Civil 3D to support engineers with design analysis and proposed infrastructure layouts.
- Lead drafting components on large, multidisciplinary projects while ensuring adherence to WSP CAD standards and quality processes.
- Collaborate seamlessly with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver accurate, timely design packages.
- Mentor junior and intermediate team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Integrate WSP’s Life-Saving Rules into every step of your work, prioritizing safety in both field and office environments.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A diploma or CAD certificate paired with 4–8 years of drafting experience in civil, environmental, or related disciplines.
- Proven expertise with Civil 3D (minimum 4 years) and a strong commitment to maintaining CAD standards.
- Ability to perform advanced calculations and data manipulation in Excel to support engineering workflows.
- Experience preparing complete drawing packages using survey data, client information, and field notes with minimal supervision.
- Asset experience with tools such as Plant 3D, Revit, ReCap, Vulcan, MinePlan, Global Mapper, Surfer, gINT, OpenGround, MicroStation, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.

Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 – $102,500
- MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 – $92,900
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The wage range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
