About Café Lunette
Café by day, bistro by night, we proudly play host to morning coffee and viennoiserie, breezy business lunches, weeknight rendezvous, lazy Sunday brunches and everything in between. Our menus feature a greatest hits list of timeless French classics — from traditional onion soup and steak tartare, to comforting boeuf Bourguignon and seafood bouillabaisse. On weekends, we invite our guests to rise and shine for a rich variety of pastries, crêpes, galettes and breakfast sandwiches.
Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Bartender at Café Lunette with an in-depth knowledge of delicious classic cocktails, desire to craft signature drinks, decent wine knowledge and a flair for creating memorable guests’ experiences, bringing energy and personality to every interaction.
What you will be doing as a Bartender:
Creating a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service;
Providing guest with food & beverage suggestions, while taking in consideration preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions;
Promptly receive drink order chits and prepare beverages;
Communicating beverage descriptions, special and information to guests and team members;
Stocking and maintaining all bar products including mise en place;
Checking and maintaining beer keg and liquor levels;
Counting and taking inventory of all beverages and supplies and assist manager with inventory ordering;
Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.
The person we are looking for has:
A valid Smart Serve Certification;
Moderate wine, beer and classic cocktail knowledge;
Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service;
Excellent observation skills & high attention to detail, offering a helping hand to all guests whenever needed, before they even need to ask;
Strong communication skills.
