Job Summary
Our front-of-house crew delivers excellent customer service and hospitality to ensure every guest feels comfortable and satisfied during their visit. This role suits team players passionate about the F&B industry.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and deliver friendly, efficient service to enhance their café experience
- Provide accurate menu recommendations to assist customers in their choices
- Process customer orders accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to ensure smooth transactions
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and serving of all items
- Set and clear tables efficiently during meal periods to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
- Support the shift manager in planning and organizing special events to enhance customer engagement
- Communicate customer feedback promptly to the shift manager for continuous service improvement
- Adhere strictly to food and beverage safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager to support café operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in the F&B or retail industry to contribute practical knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player with a friendly and approachable attitude
- High initiative and a positive attitude to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work on weekends and public holidays to meet operational needs
- Commitment to working a minimum of 3 days per week to ensure consistent team support
