Cafe Team Member
We are looking for an experienced Cafe Assistant to join the team at London Transport Museum.
Benugo is the in-house caterers, we operate two cafes, all grab and go options, hot/cold beverages.
We Offer:
Rate: £14.80 per hour.
Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon- Fri/ Weekends.
Contract: Full Time/ Temporary - 3 months.
About the Cafe Assistant role:
- Taking orders, serving food and drinks.
- Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard.
- Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times.
Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
Outstanding communication and guest service skills.
- Prior food service experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Barista (if already, however, full training will be provided).
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, cash register, marie chef.
