Happy Valley Casino, located inside The Nittany Mall, has brought the region's first-ever gaming facility to life. Featuring over 600 slot machines, 30+ table games, cocktail service, and multiple dining venues, we're quickly becoming the premier entertainment destination in Happy Valley.

We're seeking detail-oriented, trustworthy, and customer-focused Cage Cashiers to join our team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for financial transactions, asset protection, regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced casino environment.

What You'll Do

As a Cage Cashier, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding company assets while ensuring guests receive efficient, friendly, and accurate financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard company assets while performing all cashiering functions and financial transactions.
• Ensure all federal cash reporting requirements are met accurately and timely.
• Accurately exchange currency, coin, and gaming-related transactions for guests.
• Process jackpot payouts, hopper fills, and other casino-related disbursements in accordance with established procedures.
• Work all front-line cage locations, including self-redemption kiosks, financial services windows, and lottery terminal operations.
• Count, balance, and verify all cash turn-ins before transfer to the Main Banker.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
• Adhere to Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Identify and report discrepancies or unusual transactions promptly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Assist guests with questions regarding cage operations and financial transactions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cash-handling experience required.
• Experience in banking, retail cash management, casino operations, or a related financial environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Schedule Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 6-8 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive cash-handling and transaction-processing tasks.

Casino employees may be required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. The cost of licensure is covered by Happy Valley Casino.
