Calibration Engineer
Description
Perform calibration activities within the approved scope of calibration.
Operate and verify calibration equipment and reference standards.
Follow documented calibration procedures and work instructions.
Record calibration results accurately and maintain proper records.
Ensure traceability of measurements to national or international standards.
Support uncertainty calculations as defined in calibration procedures.
Identify nonconforming work and report deviations when required.
Participate in internal audits, technical reviews, and accreditation assessments.
Support laboratory readiness during ISO/IEC 17025 audits.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper housekeeping.
Comply with laboratory quality, safety, and impartiality requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in:
- Calibration laboratories, or
- Vehicle inspection centers, or
- Testing and measurement environments.
