Location: Portland, OR 97229 (100% Onsite)
Pay: $30.00/hour
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: Contract through February 13, 2027 - Opportunity to go long-term and become a full-time employee after the season.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Call Center Supervisor to lead a team of customer service representatives in a fast-paced customer support environment. This position is responsible for coaching employees, driving team performance, resolving customer escalations, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Coach and mentor customer service representatives to achieve performance goals
- Provide positive, constructive feedback and performance guidance
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and development conversations
- Monitor attendance and approve employee timecards
- Foster a positive and productive team environment
Quality Assurance
- Monitor and evaluate customer interactions for quality and compliance
- Partner with quality teams to identify improvement opportunities
- Provide real-time support and coaching to agents
- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives
Customer Escalation Management
- Handle complex customer issues and escalated concerns
- Work closely with frontline employees to ensure timely resolutions
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism
Reporting & Operations
- Prepare daily operational reports and leadership updates
- Analyze team performance metrics and trends
- Utilize reporting tools to support workforce planning and coaching efforts
Technical Support
- Assist agents with basic equipment and system troubleshooting
- Support password resets and internal ticket submission processes
- Escalate technical issues when needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory, leadership, or people management experience
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing employees
- Ability to provide clear, professional, and constructive feedback
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Call center experience
- Customer service leadership experience
- E-commerce or retail customer support experience
Training
2-3 weeks of training
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Attendance during training is mandatory. No time off can be taken during the training period.
Work Schedule
Pre-Season Hours
- Monday-Friday
- Operations run from 5:00 AM-5:00 PM
Peak Season Hours (November 1, 2026-February 13, 2027)
- Sunday-Saturday
- Operations run from 5:00 AM-8:00 PM
- Schedules may begin up to 15 minutes before opening and end up to 15 minutes after closing
Peak Season Requirements
Candidates must be comfortable with increased scheduling demands during the holiday season, including:
- Mandatory work on Black Friday and Cyber Monday
- Overtime opportunities and additional shifts during peak business periods
- Time-off blackout period from November 27 through December 12
- Holiday closures include Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
