Campus Minister - Ministries
Role’s Mission: To Implement the vision of the Christ Chapel executive leadership team (Elder Board, Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor) in the assigned campus area.
Christ Chapel’s Mission: “To stretch every involved person from the threshold of their spiritual pilgrimage toward becoming a fully-developing follower of Christ.” (Col 1:28-29)
Role’s Requirements:
To serve with humility and excellence as a representative of Christ Chapel in carrying out the ministry and operations of the West Campus alongside the West Campus Pastor.
- Minister to the day-to-day spiritual needs of the congregation including:
- Hospital visitations, weddings, funerals, baptisms, parent dedications, venue pastor duties, and other pastoral care opportunities.
- Oversee and evaluate both Men’s and Women’s ministries at West Campus:
- Oversee the Women’s and Men’s Ministers
- Participate in volunteer recruitment and training for those ministries
- Partner with Central services to ensure accomplishment of ministry objectives
- Oversee and evaluate the ministry and operation of Kids Care at West Campus:
- Oversee the Kids Care Minister
- Participate in staff interviewing and hiring
- Shepherd and champion the 5pm worship service on Sunday evenings:
- Work towards increasing attendance
- Develop and establish vibrant volunteer teams
- Assist the Hive Traditional service as Venue Pastor (as needed) and staff representative.
- Champion our Prayer Team ministry at the West Campus:
- Recruit volunteers to attend and lead the meetings
- Attend Staff Huddles and other meetings as assigned.
