The Spence School is seeking a dedicated, professional, and service-oriented Campus Safety Officer to join our well-established Campus Safety team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an educational environment and is committed to helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming community for students, faculty, staff, parents, and visitors. The hourly wage range for this role is 20-23.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Days Off: Sunday and Monday
- Tuesday – Thursday: A combination of either 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (to be determined upon hire based on operational needs)
- Friday: Schedule to be determined based on operational needs.
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Campus Safety, the Campus Safety Officer is responsible for providing safety, security, and exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, parents, visitors, contractors, and vendors throughout The Spence School.
The Campus Safety Officer helps maintain a safe and secure learning environment by monitoring school facilities, controlling access to campus, conducting patrols, responding to emergencies, assisting with school operations and special events, and supporting the overall mission of The Spence School.
