Position Overview

Joffe Emergency Services is seeking a professional and dependable full-time Campus Safety Officer (CSO) to support a school campus in the Palos Verdes, CA area. This full-time position is expected to begin in mid-November 2026, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Shift times are still being finalized, and occasional weekend availability or extended hours may be required to support school rentals and events.

This role goes beyond traditional security — Campus Safety Officers are trusted members of the school community who help foster a safe, positive, and supportive campus environment. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, approachable, observant, and comfortable working with students, staff, and families on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure campus environment for students, staff, and visitors
• Serve as a visible and approachable presence throughout campus
• Respond to campus incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
• Monitor student behavior and help enforce school policies and procedures
• Conduct routine patrols and safety inspections of campus grounds and facilities
• Assist with traffic flow, parking, and visitor access
• Write detailed incident reports and document security-related activity
• Support school administration with safety and security needs as requested
• Assist with campus investigations, including reviewing camera footage and gathering information
• Help ensure campus buildings and facilities are properly secured
• Build positive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and local law enforcement
