Campus Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Build and maintain a distributed trading system using C++ and Python while following Agile processes and learning from a mentor.

You will spend 10 weeks designing, coding, testing, and maintaining a distributed trading system. You will sharpen your C++ and Python skills, contribute to production projects, follow Agile development, testing, and release processes, and receive coaching from an experienced software engineer mentor.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, and maintain a distributed trading system
  • Work on production-targeted software projects
  • Follow full-cycle development, testing, and release processes using Agile methodologies
  • Apply C++ and Python programming skills
  • Solve complex problems using high-performance software solutions

Requirements

  • Experience with C++ programming on Linux
  • Experience with Linux command line
  • Experience with Git and version control
  • Experience with Python programming on Linux
  • Strong understanding of data structures and threading models
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for solving complex problems
  • Interest in hardware, networking, and operating systems
  • Reliable and predictable availability
