CANADA - Experienced Seafood Processors
Summary:
To properly process various species of seafood, ensuring maximum use and yield of
product. Consistently maintain a high production pace in all areas of production.
- Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
- Inspect, grade and sort fish.
- Operate forklifts & pallet jacks (in house training provided)
- Place product in containers or on conveyers.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors and leads.
- Freeze, strip and palletize fish.
- Work on production lines.
- Sanitize work area and equipment.
- Place product in proper packaging as instructed.
- Adhere to all sanitation and product quality policies.
- Maintain plant safety at all times.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Experience is Fish and Seafood processing
- Prior experience with food processing equipment
- Prior food safety experience
- Prior experience in a processing environment
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved
written or oral instructions.
