Canine Caregiver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Canine Caregiver to join our team. As a Canine Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our dogs. You will also get to help find them their forever homes. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about animals and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for dogs
• Clean and maintain kennels
• Monitor the health and well-being of our dogs, reporting any concerns to our medical team
• Assist with animal handling and restraint during examinations or procedures
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for both dogs and staff
• Provide excellent customer service to potential adopters, addressing their questions and concerns

Requirements:

• Previous experience caring for dogs is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as some animals may require assistance
• Familiarity with animal handling and restraint techniques
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with potential adopters and team members
• Customer service-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
