About Us
Foodmax (10x AI Technology) is a fast-growing fresh produce supply chain company in Singapore, covering fresh produce retail (first-party and marketplace) and KOS, an intelligent F&B operating system. As our business expands, our warehouse and delivery teams will scale significantly over the next year. We are looking for a Capacity Operations Specialist to build and manage our manpower, driver and carrier capacity for warehouse and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Capacity Planning: Forecast daily, weekly, monthly and peak-season capacity needs based on warehouse volumes (picking, packing, receiving, etc.) and delivery orders, ensuring manpower and vehicle supply keeps pace with operations.
- Vendor Sourcing: Source, evaluate, negotiate and onboard BPO manpower agencies, employment agencies (EA), carriers, fleet partners and crowdsourced delivery platforms to build a diversified and reliable capacity pool.
- Vendor Management: Set SLAs and KPIs (fill rate, attendance, on-time rate, error rate, cost); conduct regular performance reviews, reconciliation and vendor tiering.
- Driver Recruitment & Management: Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, performance and retention of in-house full-time and part-time drivers.
- Cost Control: Benchmark market rates, design pricing models (per hour, per trip, per drop) and manage unit capacity costs.
- Compliance: Work with HR to ensure compliance with MOM, CPF, work pass and quota regulations; verify vendor credentials (e.g. EA licences).
- Data & Systems: Build capacity dashboards and drive adoption of scheduling and TMS tools to improve labour and fleet productivity.
- Peak Season & Contingency: Secure capacity buffers for campaigns and peak seasons, and manage contingency dispatch.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in capacity, manpower or vendor management in logistics, warehousing or last-mile delivery in Singapore; e-commerce, 3PL or cold-chain experience is a plus.
- Familiar with local logistics vendors in Singapore (BPO, manpower agencies, carriers, fleet partners, etc.), or has direct vendor connections that can be brought on board.
- Working knowledge of MOM work pass, quota and CPF rules.
- Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel or dashboards for capacity analysis.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus for communicating with China-based teams.
