For our office in Delft, we are looking for a CAPEX Project Controller.

As a CAPEX Project Controller, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders across our technical and innovation departments. You will provide financial guidance throughout the lifecycle of major investment projects, helping teams make informed decisions and ensuring projects remain on track financially.

You are analytical, accurate, and comfortable working with colleagues from different disciplines. You can translate complex financial information into clear insights and are confident in challenging assumptions when needed. With a proactive and improvement-driven mindset, you enjoy finding smarter ways of working and creating value for the business, In addition:

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts;
• Develop and analyse business cases for investment proposals;
• Support cost control activities and monitor project expenditures;
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial analyses;
• Analyse variances between budgets, forecasts, and actual costs;
• Contribute to project planning and progress monitoring;
• Provide financial insights and management reports;
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and financial performance.

Education & Experience

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a Project Controller, Cost Controller, or in a similar financial role;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;
• Experience with Excel and financial systems;
• Experience with SAP and/or Power BI is an advantage;
• Interest in data analysis, reporting, and financial insights;
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is required for this role;
• Willingness to undertake occasional short business trips.
