The Capex Project Engineer is co-responsible for the overall Capital Program Development and Implementation of the Etten-Leur facility.

You drive and manage the capital program execution by monitoring project progress, modify plans, initiate corrective actions based on feedback and changes by using the appropriate project management tools and techniques. Starting off from the conceptual engineering phase until final project completion by formal "Hand-Over" to the internal customer (after commissioning and punch-list resolution) as well as financial- and administrative CloseOut.

The Capex Project Engineer develops and presents the business case(s) during the Corporate Captial Budget Reviews.

Projects may be process equipment, reliability and maintenance engineering, utility or civil related. Accountabilities of the rol include project viability, project schedule adherence, project cost control, technology transfer and corporate Safety & Quality standard compiance.

What do you bring?

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or related field
• 5 years of experience in Capital Project Management
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
• Technical expertise
• Negotiation skills
• Encourges creative thinking, sharing ideas and continuous improvement
• Fluent in English and Dutch
