Apple is looking for a CapEx Supplier Quality Engineer, Equipment to lead quality and reliability management of highly customized, complex manufacturing equipment across a global supplier network. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to uphold rigorous quality standards and drive continuous improvements that directly shape high-volume manufacturing performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering or relevant Hardware / Manufacturing disciplines
- Proven experience with 3C customized capital equipment or high-precision components (e.g., robots, vision systems, measurement tools)
- Experience in reviewing equipment specifications and executing quality validation processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment and operate independently under pressure
- Ability to travel frequently to domestic and international supplier sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in ambiguous, fast-changing project environments
- Experience facilitating cross-functional discussions and driving resolution of technical or operational issues across internal teams and external suppliers
- Quality management experience in customized manufacturing or equipment supply chains
- Experience in massive data analysis, coding and machine learning would be a plus
- Experience of leveraging AI or emerging technologies to enhance work efficiency and quality processes
- Mandarin language skills are a plus
