About Roundstone:
Founded in 2003, Roundstone is not your typical insurance company. We’re on a mission to help employers save on healthcare benefits so they can put those savings towards bettering their businesses and taking care of their employees.
Role Description
The Captive Solution Consultant is a subject-matter expert who helps employers, brokers/consultants, and internal teams understand the captive model and select, implement, and adopt the associated cost-containment solutions. This is a growth-enabling operations role that improves conversion, engagement, and retention of Bywater and our partner programs by ensuring Employers and Brokers understand Roundstone’s ecosystem partner programs and use them. This role serves as the operational bridge between clients, internal teams, and partner stakeholders, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, effective education, and clear tracking of outcomes. As such, this role plays a critical role in supporting QBRs on behalf of Partner Solutions.
The Captive Solutions Consultant is accountable for developing and delivering training for Sales, Account Management, and other internal teams such that our talent possess a deep, working mastery of Roundstone's Group Captive Health Insurance solution — including the mechanics and captive fund structure, underwriting principles, cost containment philosophy, preferred partners, and point solutions.
This role also drives value through training and adoption of Roundstone’s external reporting tools (the reporting portal and Cedargate). This includes managing the day-to-day relationship with Cedargate, ensuring streamlined execution of onboarding and offboarding of employers, PBMs, and TPAs in their platform, including tracking and follow-up.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop program onboarding materials, training guides, FAQs, and adoption resources in collaboration with the Vendor Manager and Partner.
- Create, manage, and deliver a comprehensive “technical” training including playbooks, visual explainers, primers, and knowledge assessments in collaboration with Partner Solutions peers and Marketing.
- Participate in and ensure preparation for ad-hoc Sales and Renewal client and broker meetings as the Partner Solutions and technical product subject matter expert.
- Provide data and support, joining calls as needed for Employer QBRs to reinforce value, drive engagement, and recommend next-step actions.
- Manage benefit year schedule for presentation of new solutions at renewal, executing a strategy to ensure clear and timely communication and follow-up on the current and proposed solutions.
- Track Employer onboarding into partner programs, via dashboards and reporting, and ensure follow-up in collaboration with Account Management and Onboarding.
- Track and follow up on Employer, TPA, and PBM onboarding and offboarding in the Cedargate platform, increasing access to dollar-one data correlated with higher renewal rates. Manage and ensure timely resolution of Cedargate escalations from Account Management and other stakeholders.
- Maintain clear dashboards and BOB reporting on onboarding progress, adoption trends, and outcome metrics. Support tracking of adoption, utilization, and pull-through at the client and end-user level with Customer Success and Partners.
- Identify program adoption barriers and work cross-functionally to remove operational, technical, or communication gaps.
- Partner with customer success, operations, product, and sales teams to align execution and escalation paths.
