What you’ll be doing

You’ll be transporting and delivering vehicles across the SIXT VIC network using our 5–7 car transport trailers and heavy vehicles. You’ll work closely with Fleet Operations to keep vehicles where they need to be—on time, safe, and spotless.

Key tasks include:

  • Transporting vehicles between SIXT branches across VIC

  • Loading/unloading and securely strapping vehicles

  • Completing vehicle condition checks and paperwork

  • Keeping the truck clean, safe, and brand-ready

  • Adapting to changing schedules during peak volumes

Shift snapshot

Peak season means early starts and plenty of movement.

  • Early starts (typically 6:00am–7:00am)

  • 8–10 hour shifts, depending on runs

  • Weekdays plus some weekends/public holidays

  • Metro Adelaide and occasional VIC trips

You’ll thrive in this role if you

  • Enjoy working independently while staying connected with a busy ops team

  • Are confident loading/strapping vehicles safely and efficiently

  • Stay calm and flexible when schedules shift (peak season fun!)

  • Take pride in delivering vehicles damage-free, every time

  • Like being out on the road more than behind a desk

What you’ll bring

Essential:

  • Current, valid Australian Driver’s Licence + HC Licence

  • 2+ years’ experience driving a similar heavy vehicle / trailer setup

  • Excellent driving record (VicRoads history report required)

  • Current Commercial Driver Medical

  • Physically fit for securing vehicles and handling ramps

  • Strong knowledge of Melbourne roads

  • Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

  • Great communication skills and a team mindset
