REQUIRED PROCEDURES
First assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy/lung resections; vein harvest; chest tube placement; surgical CT.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certification required
• Licenses: Active KY License or willingness to obtain
• DEA: Active DEA certification required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
• Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history preferred; availability at time of name clear

Duties & Responsibilities

• First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resections
• Perform vein harvest and chest tube placement
• Manage telemetry and ICU patients
• Take night call (7p-7a) and weekend 24-hour call duties
• Conduct inpatient rounds and surgical procedures during weekend coverage
