Summary
Provides daily personal care and companionship to elderly residents in a senior living facility, ensuring their comfort and well-being through attentive support and hospitality-focused routines.
Care Associate delivers compassionate care and ensuring the well-being of clients under the supervision of Home Care team Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized hospitality and companionship to residents by anticipating their needs, listening attentively to their wishes and concerns and ensuring a comfortable, respectful and homely living experience.
- Support residents’ daily routines and lifestyle preferences, creating a warm, inviting environment that enhances comfort, independence, and quality of life.
- Monitor residents’ general well-being, including observing changes in behaviour or physical condition and promptly communicating any concerns to the supervisory team.
- Maintain residents’ living spaces to a high hospitality standard. Reflecting a service-oriented approach like hotel or serviced residence environments.
- Facilitate and encourage participation in social, recreational and lifestyle activities to enhance residents’ emotional and social well-being.
- Ensure all equipment used in resident care is kept clean, functional and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Monitor and organise consumables and supplies to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Uphold exceptional service etiquette, demonstrating warmth, patience, professionalism and a hospitality mindset in all resident interactions.
- Assist with any additional duties assigned by the supervisor to support smooth operations and enhance the resident living experience.
Requirements:
- Singapore-Cambridge General Certification of Education Normal Level (N-Level) or Ordinary Level (O-Level).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and First Aid Certification would be advantageous.
- Preferably at least 1 to 2 years of elder care setting experience.
- Able to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and other allied healthcare teams.
- Able to work shift duties, including weekends and public holidays.
