Care Review Clinician

***The positions are remote, but the home office is located in Springdale (Cincinnati)

100% Travel within the Cincinnati area, agent will be able to expense their mileage at 0.54 a mile. The will not be able to expense from their house to the first member’s house or from the last member’s house to their house. They can expense the miles between those two visits.

Duties: Complete face to face visits with members in case management and as directed by the case manager. This role requires driving to multiple locations in a given day and will cover multiple counties. Case Manager will provide the series of questions that need to be asked. The goal is to educate members on their benefits and advise them on how they are utilize them to their fullest potential. Hands off care, more observing and documenting through computer.

Summary:

• Works with the Case Management team.

• This role is primarily responsible to complete face to face visits with members in case management and as directed by the case manager.

• This role requires driving to multiple locations in a given day and will cover multiple counties.

• Maintains professional relationships with provider community and internal and external customers.

• Conducts self in a professional manner at all times.

• Maintains cooperative and effective workplace relationships and adheres to company Code of Conduct.

• Consults with and refers cases to Client medical directors regularly, as necessary.

• Complies with required workplace safety standards.

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program. (A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of Registered Nursing degree).

Required Experience:

• Minimum 0-2 years of clinical practice.

• Minimum 5+years of LPN with home care experience.

• Preferably hospital nursing, utilization management, and/or case management.

Required Licensure/Certification:

• Active, unrestricted State Nursing (RN, LVN, LPN) license in good standing.
