We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Leigh, United Kingdom. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

  • Provide personalised care and support to clients, tailoring your approach to their individual needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication management
  • Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housework to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Accompany clients on outings and appointments, promoting social engagement and independence
  • Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the care coordinator
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision
  • Genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives
  • Caring, patient, and empathetic nature with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping and medication management
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and care techniques
  • Valid UK driving licence (preferred)
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required

The role is subject to satisfactory referencing and an enhanced DBS.
