About the Role:

As a Career Consultant at IIDE’s Lower Parel (West), Mumbai campus, you will play a key role in helping students and working professionals identify the right digital marketing programs aligned with their career aspirations. This role involves understanding learner needs, providing personalized counseling, managing admissions processes, and driving enrollments through consultative guidance. You will work closely with prospective learners and internal teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality admissions experience.

What You’ll Do:

● Student Counseling & Career Guidance:

○ Counsel prospective students and working professionals on IIDE’s digital marketing programs.
○ Conduct one-on-one career guidance sessions to understand learners’ interests, strengths, and career goals.
○ Assist learners in selecting suitable programs to support their personal and professional growth.
○ Provide accurate information on courses, curriculum, career opportunities, and learning outcomes.

● Sales & Lead Conversion:

○ Manage inbound and outbound leads through consultative and solution-oriented conversations.
○ Convert inquiries into enrollments while maintaining strong conversion ratios.
○ Achieve weekly and monthly enrollment, revenue, and collection targets.
○ Follow up consistently with prospective learners to drive engagement and admissions closure.

● Relationship Management:

○ Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective learners through personalized support.
○ Understand student aspirations and provide tailored program recommendations.
○ Maintain accurate lead, follow-up, and admissions records in CRM systems.

● Admissions Coordination:

○ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and admissions documentation.
○ Support fee collection processes and assist with education loan coordination where required.
○ Ensure a smooth end-to-end admissions experience for learners.

● Additional Duties:

○ Contribute to process improvements in admissions and counseling workflows.
○ Support admissions campaigns, student engagement initiatives, and counseling events.
○ Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the broad scope of the position.

Who You Are:

● Must-Have:

○ 1–8 years of experience in career counseling, academic counseling, admissions, education sales, or consultative sales roles.
○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
○ Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
○ Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a target-driven environment.
○ Ability to manage multiple leads and maintain organized follow-ups.

● Should Have:

○ Experience using CRM tools for lead and admissions management.
○ Strong organizational, counseling, and follow-up skills.
○ Ability to understand learner psychology, aspirations, and career objectives.
○ Experience in consultative selling or student advisory roles.

● Nice to Have:

○ Prior experience in the education or EdTech industry.
○ Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and career pathways.
○ Experience counseling students or working professionals for upskilling programs.
