RTR is offering a $2,500 Sign on Bonus to all New Full Time Hires!
To secure competitive employment for individuals with developmental disabilities referred to or currently attending RTR employment services. May be asked to assist individuals in the Supported Employment Placement (SEP) community program and oversee small groups of program members for the purpose of vocational skills training and job placement as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Contact businesses, companies, and corporations in the community to secure competitive employment for individuals receiving RTR vocational services. Business contacts include, but are not limited to face to face contact, telephone calls, mailings, presentations, email, etc. Extensive time outside of the office is required with flexible scheduling.
- Works cooperatively with all RTR team members to obtain and expand desired outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Serves as a liaison between internal RTR team and outside companies and businesses coordinating follow up support services. These could include assisting in resume writing, transporting and attending job interviews, job testing etc.
- Attend applicable intake meetings and department staff meetings with other members to share individual information, progress and outcomes relevant to all referrals.
- Track all referrals, intakes, interviews, and outcomes related to each individual case.
- Participates as requested by the Vice President of Day Services to develop vocational/employment plans for the organization, including the establishment of specific goals and objectives for the services to reach.
- Willing and able to spend majority of time on the road and traveling for job procurement purposes.
- Completes all necessary paperwork pertinent to each referral including but not limited to: intake packet, individual job performance reviews, evaluation assessments, follow up support forms, ISP’s, monthly billing, etc.
- Work in accordance with Department of Labor standards and perform time studies.
- Participate in on-the-job training and provide coaching to new co-workers as directed.
- Adhere to agency safety protocols.

Additional duties may include but are not limited to clearing snow and ice from walkways, vehicles, parking lots, and roads using equipment like shovels and snow blowers while applying deicing agents to ensure safety.
- Adhere to all RTR policies and procedures.
- Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs.
