Career Technical Education Teacher (CTE) - Law and Public Safety/First Responders Program

Description: The CTE teacher for Law and Public Safety is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging instruction aligned with Ohio Department of Education career-technical standards in the Law and Public Safety career field. The teacher will provide students with foundational knowledge and hands-on learning experiences related to criminal justice, emergency services, public safety, homeland security, and related career pathways.

Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Develop and implement curriculum aligned to Ohio Career Technical Education standards in Law and Public Safety.
• Deliver engaging instruction using classroom, laboratory, project-based, and real-world learning experiences.
• Prepare students for postsecondary education, industry credentials, and careers in criminal justice, emergency medical services, firefighting, homeland security, and related public safety fields.
• Maintain compliance with district policies, Ohio Department of Education requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
