Job Description

Member needs dependable in-home caregiving support to help maintain safety, comfort, and daily routine. Caregiver should be attentive, patient, and able to provide hands-on assistance as needed with day-to-day activities. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a calm, supportive approach are important for this role.

Required Duties (Texas STAR+PLUS)

Texas STAR+PLUS caregiver support may include:

• Personal care assistance (as needed): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support
• Mobility and transfer assistance (as needed) and general safety monitoring
• Meal preparation and light kitchen clean-up
• Light housekeeping (tidying, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing linens)
• Errands and essential shopping support (if requested/approved). Driving may be required if errands are part of the care plan.
• Companionship and supportive supervision to help maintain daily routine
