Job Description
Female member is seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to assist with day-to-day support and safety at home. Member may need hands-on help with mobility and general daily activities, including assistance moving safely around the home and support with personal care routines as needed. Ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and comfortable providing care in a home setting while maintaining dignity, privacy, and a calm environment.
Important home environment notes: Member is a non-smoker, and there are pets in the home. Caregiver must be comfortable around animals.

Required Duties (Texas STAR+PLUS Caregiver Requirements)
- Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene as needed
- Mobility & Safety Support: Help with safe transfers, repositioning, and walking assistance as needed; fall-prevention awareness
- Meal Support: Meal preparation, light cooking, and cleanup
- Light Housekeeping: Tidying, sweeping/mopping as needed, dishes, trash removal, and maintaining a safe living space
- Laundry: Washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing/linens
- Basic Medication Assistance: Reminders/assistance as permitted (no medication administration unless authorized)
- Companionship: Friendly engagement, reassurance, and supportive presence
- Observation & Reporting: Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns per agency policy
Additional Notes: Member is a non-smoker and has pets in the home. Caregiver must be comfortable in this environment.
