Job Description

Newport Home Health Agency is seeking a patient, attentive caregiver to support a young child in the home. The member is mostly non-verbal and benefits from calm, consistent care, simple communication, and close supervision. The member is not yet potty-trained and will need hands-on assistance with toileting routines and hygiene. Caregiver should be comfortable providing age-appropriate personal care and maintaining dignity and privacy. The member has a tendency to run off (elopement risk), so safety awareness is essential. You’ll need to stay alert, maintain line-of-sight supervision as appropriate, and help create a safe environment during daily activities. The member lives with family in the home. Caregiver should be respectful of household routines and able to work cooperatively around family members.
