Caregiver

We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

· Companionship

· Light cooking and cleaning

· Assistance with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting

· Assistance with mobility, transfers and medication reminders

· Transportation for appointments and assistance with errands

· Perform all job duties with dignity, compassion, care and empathy

Qualifications and Skills:

· Be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma

· Verify legal eligibility to work in the United States

· Proof of current TB testing and Health Physical

· Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check according to IL State Requirements

· Must be able to pass a Drug Test

· Must have personal reliable vehicle and proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance

· Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Caregivers must be mature, caring, punctual and reliable

· Must have basic knowledge of technology in order to use our cell phone app for clocking in/out, documenting completion of tasks and reporting changes in client’s condition

· Previous experience working as a caregiver or experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons is required
