Caregiver

As a Caregiver at our Prebbleton Village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises
• Helping with activities, such as puzzles, table tennis etc

You’ll need to be available for three weeks of paid, onsite training from 18 January to 5 February 2027, running Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, ahead of the Care Centre’s official opening.

You will work a 4 days on, 2 days off rotating shift pattern with a minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week. We have opportunities across either morning (7:00am – 3:00pm), afternoon (3:00pm – 11:00pm), or night shifts (11:00pm – 7:00am).

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off
