Caregiver Supervisor

Caregiver supervisors provide services to individuals in their own homes, who need assistance caring for themselves because of old age, sickness, disability and/or other afflictions. In addition, supervisors oversee other caregivers and are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with Graceful Aging Home Care’s policies and industry standards. Job Duties:

• Ensure agency polices/procedures and industry standards/regulations are followed.
• Assist with scheduling.
• Conduct new client assessments.
• Train newly hired staff.
• Conduct caregiver performance reviews.
• Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new caregivers.
• Provide leadership to caregivers.
• Help resolve caregivers concerns and issues.
• Cover client hours as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge:

• Knowledge of managing employees.
• Knowledge of personal care and home management skills.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal care services, including needs determinants, meeting quality standards and evaluation of client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms.

Qualifications/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA required.
• Minimum 5 years of home care experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience preferred but not required.
• Current driver’s license.
• Proper vehicle insurance coverage.
