Carpentar/ Painter
- Conform and adhere to the policies & procedures and rules & regulations laid down by the Hotel to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.
- To supervise the upkeep and maintenance of all carpentry-related items of the Hotel, any matter which may affect the interests of the Hotel should be brought to the attention of the Management.
- Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
- Provide effective support to the team to enable them to deliver effective and efficient services.
- Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Motivate and develop staff to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. Ensure that the team is trained in all safety provisions.
- To maintain & repair door locks, door closures, safety chain, door seals, Door stoppers, Peephole etc.
- To maintain & repair Tables, Chairs, Storage cabinet, and adjusting and fixing of all furniture.
- Carry out the building PPM related to carpentry and wooden polishing as per the schedule or instructed by superior.
- Assist the engineering team to carry out any masonry, painting or any other work requested by the supervisors from time to time.
- Ensure to maintain all the equipment used in carpentry are in good and safe to use and also keep the carpentry section clean and tidy all the time.
- Estimate the requirement of materials & inform the Engineering Supervisor to notify the same to the Purchasing Department for any major projects or task.
- Perform daily assignments, field observation, schedule roster, preventive maintenance, and other operations set up for the Engineering Department inclusive of Pre & Pro tasks to eliminate and provide suitable and better-quality guest service.
- Check and ensure that proper safety measures have been adhered to and also ensure maintenance of all firefighting equipment.
- Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with the other user departments & stay abreast of technological advances in surveillance & safety equipment.
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel
- 2 plus years of Building Carpentry experience
